A creative entrepreneurial spirit is giving Phnom Penh a new identity far removed from the ravages of the past.

After working on two fab hotels for FCC Cambodia, Gary Fell from GFab architects moved on to create its Phnom Penh outfit, The Quay Hotel -- the first carbon-neutral hotel for the city.

Eco-friendliness doesn't have to take a back seat to good design -- that's the implicit message of the newly opened Quay Hotel.
